Sambali Beach Farm began as a humble herb garden. Over the years, it has grown into the fully-fledged farm that it is today. The produce grown in the Farm is all-organic and stays true to the most natural process, and abides by the cycles of the weather or season. This means that growing and harvest times can vary, but the process is aided by natural technologies such as biochar, vermi compost, and bokashi balls to grow high-quality produce. One of the farm’s advocacies is getting clean and healing food from the farm to the table. “Slow food,” as founder Ching puts it.
The farmers who cultivate and harvest the produce are all from the surrounding community. Sambali Beach Farm is committed to helping and empowering the local community and economy, and while the number of staff is growing every year, many of the farmers have been with working with SBF since its inception.
